1. Who we are

Florida CDL Exam (the "App") is published by Krotov Studio LLC ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information we collect

Account information you provide

Email address and password (hashed; we never see or store the plaintext password).
Optional display name.

Information generated by your use of the App

Questions answered and whether you answered correctly.
Practice and exam session records (category, score, duration, completion date).
Question reports you submit (the question you flagged, the reason, any optional comment, your selected state).
Your state selection (e.g. Florida).

Device and technical information

App version and operating system version.
Anonymous crash logs (via Expo/Apple standard reporting).

What we do not collect

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data.
We do not sell personal data.
We do not use cross-app tracking identifiers in the current version.

3. How we use information

To operate the App (sign you in, save your progress, serve the correct questions).
To compute per-category accuracy and weak-area suggestions.
To review and fix questions you flag as wrong, unclear, typo, or outdated.
To maintain service quality (debugging, aggregate usage counts).

We do not use your information for targeted advertising in this version.

4. Third-party services

When a planned feature is activated in a future update, we will update this policy and include it in the release notes.

5. Your rights and choices

Access. Email us for a copy of your data.
Correction. Update your display name in Settings.
Deletion. Open Settings → Account → Delete account in the App. This permanently removes your account, your progress, and your reports. Deletion is immediate.
Withdraw consent. Delete your account at any time.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a US state with a comprehensive privacy law (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and others), you have additional rights under those laws. Contact us to exercise them.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

7. Data retention

Account and progress data: kept until you delete your account.
Reports: kept until the reported question is resolved or dismissed, then archived.
Anonymous crash logs: up to 12 months.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest by Supabase. Access to production data is limited to the publisher and is gated behind SSO.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post changes here and update the effective date. Material changes will also be announced in the App's release notes.
