Terms of Service — Florida CDL Exam

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What the App is — and what it isn't

• Florida CDL Exam is an educational practice tool for the Florida Commercial Driver's License knowledge exam.
• The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV), or the United States Department of Transportation.
• Questions are practice questions, not actual exam questions.
• Passing practice sessions does not guarantee you will pass any official exam.

Always follow your state's official procedures and study materials before taking a real CDL knowledge test.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to create an account.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password.
• You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account in the App.

4. Content and conduct

• We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial study.
• You will not scrape, resell, redistribute, or attempt to mine the question bank.
• You will not submit false or abusive content via the Report-a-question form.

5. Subscriptions and in-app purchases (future)

If and when paid features launch, billing will be handled by the Apple App Store under Apple's terms. Subscriptions will auto-renew unless canceled in your Apple ID account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple per Apple's published policies.

6. User-submitted reports

When you flag a question as wrong, unclear, a typo, or outdated, you grant us a license to use the report internally for content improvement. We will not publicly attribute reports to you.

7. Intellectual property

• The App's code, design, and original question text are owned by Krotov Studio LLC.
• Handbook excerpts and regulations referenced in questions are public-domain government material; citations to 49 CFR and state handbooks are fair and accurate.
• Trademarks and logos are property of their respective owners and are used only for reference.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that it will cause you to pass any official exam.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those places the above only applies to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the App and on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in the State of Florida, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law says otherwise.
